Galileo School

Growing the leaders of the future

The Goal

As a high-performing charter school, Galileo School for Gifted Learning had a waiting list of 400+ students. To accommodate the rapidly growing interest, the school sought to build a new facility that would increase its capacity to serve 50% more students. To fund the development of this brand new, 43,682 square foot facility the school launched a capital campaign to raise an initial investment of $1 million for Athletics, Arts, STEM and Critical Goods.

GreenHouse volunteered our branding, web development, graphic design and public relations services pro-bono as an investment in our community. Our CEO and Founder, Caleb Edwards, was invited to join the School Board and serves as the Chair of the Marketing Committee. The entire GreenHouse team pitched in to help make this a successful initiative.

Inspiring Branding

With plenty of local, deserving non-profits also looking for investment, our goal was to create a reputable, inspiring image that captured the core values of the tuition-free charter school. Our design centered around Galileo’s belief that children should go to school not only to learn, but to also explore, play, think and grow. The organic, nature-inspired branding evoked that feeling of endless creativity and potential, while also referencing the science, art, and technology achievements Galileo is known for.

Simplified Website Design

Galileo’s web presence is a critical information hub visited daily by parents needing to quickly access important information about school events and updates. Their previous website was difficult to navigate and cluttered with outdated information. Working with our web development partner, Afteractive, our goal was to simplify and modernize the new website design, while creating a clear navigation and hierarchy of information. We humanized the school as well by including pictures of real students, teachers, and staff members. The result is a custom, beautifully branded website that will serve the school well for years to come.

Capital Campaign Design

Another critical component of a successful capital campaign includes print collateral: brochures, presentation folders, fact sheets and business cards. These materials allowed us to tell the Galileo success story, while building the benefits of investing in a gifted future to change tomorrow’s world.

Galileo Local PR, pr strategy

Local PR & Outreach

To celebrate Galileo’s groundbreaking ceremony, we reached out to state and city representatives, parents and teachers, and members of the press. We garnered mentions in the Orlando Business Journal and the event was attended by a staffer from Congressman Mica’s office, Representative Jason Brodeur and an official from the Seminole County School Board.

Caleb and his team have implemented a comprehensive plan to increase our business throughinbound marketing and social media. They have a thorough understanding of what it takes to make it successful. We are very happy with the results! We highly recommend them!
